Officers cleared in all shootings since 2001 (The Argus Leader)South Dakota law enforcement officers have shot 12 suspects, killing six since June 2001, and in each of the 11 closed cases, the attorney general has justified the use of force. The most recent shooting occurred last month when Highway Patrol Trooper Ryan Lantz shot and killed 26-year-old Anthony Larocco of Harrold. Results of an investigation into that shooting are expected soon.
